5. Early withdrawal and refund of tuition & fees shall be subject to the school policy. The school development fund and enrollment deposit are not refundable.

PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS

Payment of tuition and fees should be made by bank transfer to the KEB Hana bank account indicated on the invoice which will be issued in January 2017. Parents are responsible for all bank fees, charges and clearing costs. Cash or personal checks are not accepted. Please note that the School requires that payment of tuition be paid in Korean Won.

PAYMENT DUE DATES

      • Early payment discount rate of 1% will be applied to the tuition and School Development Fund received by March 31, 2017 for newly enrolled and returning students.
      • Newly Enrolled Students – Payment of all tuition and fees is due within 14 days after admission acceptance or prior to the first day of classes, whichever date occurs first.
        • A 5% late fee will be charged on all outstanding balances for any payments received after applicable due date.
      • Returning Students – To continue enrollment for the 2017-18 school year:
        • Prior to re-enrollment, all outstanding balance must be paid in full.
        • A non-refundable re-enrollment deposit of 3,000,000 KRW must be made on or before March 10, 2017. The re-enrollment deposit will be applied to 2017-18 tuition.
        • The balance of tuition and fees is due on or before April 30, 2017.
        • A 5% late fee will be charged for outstanding balances paid May 1 to May 31, 2017.
        • If payment has not been received by June 1, 2017, the student’s place is forfeited and student must re-apply through the Admissions Office subject to available space.

PAYMENT ASSISTANCE

Dwight School Seoul is pleased to offer a third child discount of 15% (tuition and School Development Fund) for families enrolling three or more children. All other applicable fees are payable immediately upon billing. However, as a convenience to parents, the balance of tuition, School Development Fund and Quest fee may be paid in installments with 2% installment interest, with prior approval by April 30, 2017. FINANCIAL AID AND SCHOLARSHIPS

The School offers a limited number of annual financial aid and scholarship opportunities. Financial aids are intended as short-term financial assistance and are means tested. If offered, aid can be reviewed on a term by term basis and is a fixed figure amount. Scholarship examinations, auditions and interviews take place in January next year and are applied for the following August tuition. *Please note that in the event of force majeure, tuition and fees will not be refunded. Force majeure is defined as an event such as war, civil strife, labor unrest or extreme weather that cannot be reasonably anticipated or controlled by the school.
