In 2010 Dwight was chosen by the Seoul metropolitan government from amongst 120 foreign schools to operate the new Sangam-dong Digital Media City (DMC) international school. Dwight School Seoul would be a model IB School for five hundred forty students in preschool through grade 12 in the new DMC district of Seoul. Dwight is proud to be the only school in Seoul offering the entire IB continuum: Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP). Opening its doors in 2012, Dwight currently has over 350 students in preschool through grade 12, representing over 30 different nationalities.
Dwight School Seoul has passed authorization across all three IB Programmes; Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the Diploma Programme (DP), officially being the only school in Seoul recognised by the International Baccalaureate to run all three IB programmes.
IB World Schools share a common philosophy—a commitment to high-quality, challenging, international education—that we believe is important for our students.
* Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its three academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP) or the Diploma Programme (and in addition the IB Career-related Certificate). Candidate status gives no guarantee that authorization will be granted.
